Ode to an Unknown Princess
Saturday, August 13th, 2005Ode to the Princess of Life
I know a princess
Mysterious she seems
A confident smile was her first gift
It brought me comfort after storms
And it cast away the doubts
She looks so tender, beauty soft
Touch that is like silk
That one like me cannot forsake
Her voice sounding gentle
Like caring windy whispers
Brightened my days’ hopes
She walks upon distant shores
With an ever distant gaze
To breaking dawns and scarlet sunsets
And to the full Luna at quiet
midnights
A noble heart she keeps
Shuts her soul
From the ever betraying
And deceitful spirits around
She is a wonderful rose
The only white rose on a barren desert
Beautiful blessing
Morning glow smiles
Daughter of precious life, mortal living
Humble princess, pretty princess
Destiny waits for you
To the stars, the heavens
Where your simple and humble beauty
Will shine brightly for me to admire and adore
Bravery her gift
Dignity her heart
If all beauty was such as her
How lovely it would be
